CCPA Privacy Policy Addendum for California Residents
Last Updated: June 12, 2025

Introduction
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants California residents specific rights regarding the collection and use of their personal information. These rights include the ability to know what information is collected, how it is used, and the ability to request its correction or deletion. California residents also have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.

The Global Health Congress (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to honoring these rights and complying fully with the CCPA. This notice supplements the information contained in our main Privacy Policy and applies solely to residents of the State of California.

How We Collect and Use Data
We collect personal information when it is voluntarily provided by you—for example, when you register for the congress, submit a speaker proposal, complete a form on our website, or engage with us through surveys.

We limit the information we request to what is necessary for the stated purpose. The use of cookies on our website is for functional and analytical purposes, and we do not use them to collect personal information without your consent where required.

Data privacy is a priority for our entire organizing team. Our goal is to remain transparent and responsible in how we collect and use your data—strictly for the purposes of administering the congress, communicating with you, and enhancing your event experience. For users under the age of 13, consent from a parent or guardian is required before we knowingly collect any personal information.
